After 11 years have passed from the untimely death of Ion Aldea Teodorovici - a famous name for the modern compositors - his talent is still actual, his lyrism and profound message are still present in every page of score.
       The activity of Ion Aldea-Teodorovici was prodigious, it got materialized in hundreds of masterpieces of various kinds - academic music, music for theatre, for movies, for children, instrumental music, light music - all marked by sensibility and tunefulness. He was one of the most successful compositors and was in the attention o f most performers of light music - both beginners and already widely recognized, they all were keen to enrich their repertory with attractive melodies. The ones who had the success to work with Ion Aldea-Teodorovici were witnesses of his perseverance and attitude to the launch of each and every masterpiece. As an editor I assisted at the recording of many of his songs on Radio, especially patriotic songs and can state that he opted for perfect harmony between text and melody, a completely reciprocal harmony. So, all the songs of Ion Aldea Teodorovici composed in collaboration with the Grigore Vieru and Dumitru Matcovschi , his two most preferred poets, are examples of such interdependency. One must mention the fact that they perfectly suit any genre of music without loosing complexity. Probably, he didn't have a preferred genre. He loved Beauty in all aspects. He was a Creator of Music, he wrote it and performed it either alone or with Doinea Teodorovici, together making the most harmonious duet, most semsible and attractive.
       The masterpieces of Ion Aldea Teodorovici remained pictured in the memories of all music lovers, they gradually pass to the young performers that understand that such things can not belong to a particular time. They pass the frontiers of years preserving their profound nature and lyrism and namely this is the true joy for any composer or performer... to be listened by many more generations of music lovers.
